The neighbourhood of Lakeview is located in the Southeast area of Saskatoon. It’s home to approximately 7,600 residents and features a pond with approximately 30 acres of walking trails, parks and green space. Residential development in Lakeview began in 1979 and most of it wrapped up by the 1990’s.
There are two schools in Lakeview, being École Lakeview School and St. Bernard School. The recreational amenities are abundant, with facilities for soccer, football, baseball, basketball, tennis, and a skating rink. Greenbryre Golf & Country club is conveniently located to the South, where golfers can enjoy 9, 12 or 18 holes.
There are just two commercial developments in Lakeview which offer restaurants, offices, gas, and a convenience store. The Centre at Circle & 8th is a quick car ride away, as are the big-box stores at Stonebridge and the Lakewood Suburban Centre to the East offers additional amenities.
