The neighbourhood of Lakewood is situated in Saskatoon’s Southeast corner, just before the area of Rosewood. Development is fairly new here, with residential construction commencing in 2001. Like other suburban centres, the townhouse style condominiums are popular in the area, which is home to approximately 2,000 residents. There are no single-family detached homes in Lakewood.
There are no schools in the neighbourhood of Lakewood but children can attend the schools in Lakeridge or either of the joint-use P3 schools (Colette Bourgonje School or St. Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic School).
