The neighbourhood of Mayfair is located in the Northern Central part of Saskatoon. As one of Saskatoon’s oldest neighbourhoods, the development started in the early 1900’s, and seems to be continuous as restorations and infill projects replace the half standing war-time homes. There are approximately 2,955 residents in the neighbourhood today.
You’ll find one school in Mayfair, being Mayfair School but there are plenty of activities for families. There is just over 7 acres of park and green space that offer walking tails, playgrounds, facilities for baseball, soccer, football, a paddling pool and spray park and a toboggan hill and skating rink. If this isn’t enough green space for you, the neighbouring Hudson Bay Park, and Kelsey-Woodlawn areas offer more.
Shopping is nearby on 33rd Street West, as well as Idylwyld Drive North. A quick car ride gets you downtown pretty quickly, and access to Circle Drive will provide a direct route to most other shopping centres nearby.
