Welcome to the North Park Neighbourhood of Saskatoon
North Park is located in North central along the South Saskatchewan River, North of City Park and South of Richmond Heights. Home to approximately 2,030 residents, this neighbourhood is a popular one due to its location and character-home style of houses found here. As one of Saskatoon’s oldest neighbourhoods, you’ll find homes here as old as the early 1900’s. Today, you’ll still find these war-time homes; most of which have been renovated (some keeping the character), and infill projects replacing the dilapidated eyesores.
North Park is home to two schools being North Park Wilson School and École St. Paul School. There are only 2 acres of park and green space in the neighbourhood, but the mature trees, river valley and surrounding neighbourhood amenities make up for that (like Archibald Park). Amenities such as basketball courts, soccer and football fields, a baseball diamond and skating rink are available to area residents, as well as the toboggan hill at Archibald Park, and the walking trails along the river. There’s even a small beach to enjoy when the water is low enough.
There is a Shoppers Drug Mart located in North Park, but residents shop at the nearby downtown Saskatoon or stores on 33rd Street West, or the Canarama Shopping Centre on Warman Road.
