Located in Saskatoon’s North end, River Heights is home to approximately 4,615 residents and shares the area with Lawson Heights and Silverwood Heights. The neighbourhood was developed mostly between 1960 – 1980 and is desirable due to its proximity to the South Saskatchewan River and Meewasin Trails, Circle Drive, North end businesses, University of Saskatchewan, as well as the downtown core.
There are two schools in River Heights being École River Heights School and St. Anne School. There are many parks, playgrounds, and green space along the Meewasin Trails for residents to enjoy, as well as facilities for soccer, baseball, basketball and picnics. Locals will also enjoy the nearby Lawson Heights Civic Centre, and Soccer Centre.
Shopping is nearby at the Lawson Heights Mall, Canarama Shopping Centre, Preston Crossing, and downtown Saskatoon.
