Located in the South East part of Saskatoon with Lakewood and Lakeridge as neighbours, Rosewood is one of the city’s newest neighbourhoods. Construction started in the neighbourhood in 2009 and the area is still not fully developed. There are well over 3,000 residents in the area already, and is expected to grow to 10,650 by 2025.
There are two schools in Rosewood, which are part of the P3 joint-use project in Saskatoon, similar to Evergreen, Hampton Village and Stonebridge. They are Colette Bourgonje School and St. Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic School. There are over 65 acres of wetlands and green space for residents of Rosewood to enjoy, as well as amenities like baseball diamonds, soccer fields, playgrounds, basketball courts, a water park, toboggan hill, skating rink, and many walking trails. Greenbryre Golf & Country Club is also conveniently located nearby.
Shopping is very convenient for residents in Rosewood. Costco is a short drive away, and Lakewood Common offers multiple retail stores, restaurants, grocery and other shops.
