Welcome to the Silverwood Heights Neighbourhood of Saskatoon
Silverwood Heights is located in the North-central area of Saskatoon and was developed primarily between the late 1970’s and the early 1990’s. The neighbourhood is bound by Wanuskewin Road and Lenore Drive and is home to approximately 11,000 residents, making it one of Saskatoon’s highest populated neighbourhoods. Citizens in Silverwood Heights get to enjoy close access to the South Saskatchewan River and Meewasin Trails, the Silverwood Golf Course, and the Off-Leash area for dogs.
Warman Road provides quick access to downtown Saskatoon, and Circle Drive means trips to the East side or West side in minutes. Don’t forget about Spadina Crescent and the incredible views by a commute down by the river.
Shopping is easy and accessible with Lawson Heights Mall nearby, as well as access to the stores and services in downtown Saskatoon, as well as Preston Crossing and the shops along Circle Drive. The North Commuter Bridge will be open in 2018, which will offer entry access to Evergreen and the NorthEast Swale.
There are a total of five schools in Silverwood Heights, being Brownell School, Marion M. Graham Collegiate, Silverwood Heights School, École Sister O’Brien School, and St. Angela School.
Parks and green space make up just under 80 acres in the neighbourhood, which means there is an abundance of space to be outdoors. There are numerous playgrounds, walking trails, soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, a skating rink, and a paddling pool. The Silverwood Golf Course offers beautiful views of the river valley.
