Stonebridge is located South of Circle Drive toward Regina. The neighbourhood is home to approximately 10,150 residents, which is one of Saskatoon’s highest populated neighbourhoods. Stonebridge was primarily developed beginning in 2005 and there are still some homes being constructed in the area, but is mostly a fully developed neighbourhood. You’ll find mostly detached homes here, as well as a large number of condominium complexes. The Stonebridge area offers easy access to Circle Drive, downtown Saskatoon, and offers a variety of amenities.
There are two schools in Stonebridge, which are part of the P3 joint-use project. Chief Whitecap School and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School share one roof and grounds. A park and green space count of 52 acres offer a large number of walking trails, parks and playgrounds, and facilities for baseball, basketball and soccer.
The shopping centres at the intersections of both Preston Avenue and Clarence Avenue offer grocery, gas, and “big-box” shopping malls, including a Wall-Mart, Home Depot and Sobey’s and the nearby Willows Golf & Country Club, Saskatoon Golf & Country Club, and Greenbryre Country Club offer golfers a selection of courses nearby.
